slightly over 100 registered Red Angus momma cows. The registered
cattle herd was built by selecting females from top breeders from
around the country and by retaining our very best heifers. We have
aggressively used artificial insemination and embryo transfer as a way
to further improve upon the genetic value of the herd and what we
offer our customers. We strive to produce high quality bulls for
commercial and seed stock customers alike with solid yet balanced

Bar G Red Angus LLC is a small family owned and operated ranching business located on the Beaver River in the Oklahoma panhandle. We breed Red Angus cattle for a moderate frame, deep rib, performance, and carcass while maintaining balanced traits. To accomplish this we extensively utilize embryo transfer and artificial insemination. Our donor cows have proven track records and are from some of the most successful programs in the country. Dorman Red Angus is located in Bray, Oklahoma in Southwestern Oklahoma. Our family has been in the cattle business for 25+ years. Our herd primarily consists of 50 Red Angus Cows and Heifers as well as a commercial herd. Our goal is to raise easy keeping, high quality cattle that can be used for a production herd or to excel in the show ring. We utilize an artificial insemination program along with having quality clean up Red Angus bulls. We feel that we have built a competitive herd of cattle that can contend in the pasture as well as in the show ring.

FLC is a farming and ranching operation located in central Kansas running commercial cow/calf and registered Red Angus herds. We also grow various grains and hay. Our breeding philosophy is focused on crossing terminal sires with moderate sized maternal lines to capitalize on maximizing growth in the calf without excessive inputs for cattle that are larger than the environment dictates. We are primarily a Fall calving operation. Our Red Angus females mainly originated from Ryan’s 4-H projects which were selected for phenotype combined with balanced EPD’s and focused on adequate growth and positive carcass from cow families prolific for producing these types of cattle. Embryo transfer and AI are used as tools for herd improvement. We have shown cattle successfully on the local, state, & national level.

We have raised commercial cattle for twenty-five years and Registered Red Angus for the past ten years. We are breeding and raising our Red Angus seed stock cattle for commercial farmers and ranchers with the confidence our heifers will breed, calve and keep easily. Our cattle are bred and raised in the heat and under the tough grazing conditions of Texas and will do well for our customers.
Red Angus cattle are easy keeping, efficient cows on forage. We have selected our cow herd for balanced, essential EPD traits including fleshing ability on forage, udder quality, gentle disposition and structural correctness. Kyle is one of the founding members of the Red Alliance and is well known in Red Angus circles for sale management of Red Angus cattle throughout the country. No other sale management team in the world sells more seedstock, registered Red Angus than Kyle Gilchrist Auction Co. Kyle and his children Clayton, Kaya and Chade Gilchrist manage Star G Ranch and have been producing Red Angus cattle since 1973. The Star G Ranch consists of a small nucleus of registered Red Angus donor cows along with a Red Angus X Simmental commercial F1 female herd. They sell their females through the Iowa Beef Expo, NWSS Mile High Classic Auction, their own Star Studded Event auctions and the Red Alliance. All of the Star G Ranch bulls are tested and marketed through the Red Alliance Auction the second Saturday of March in Oklahoma.
